Oliver's interest in Art was fired by his fathers's passion for painting and he was brought up surrounded by works of art in progress. His most vivid memory from his school days was when his father was invited to paint the Queen Mother's portrait at Clarence House.
During his formative years, Oliver was introduced to works of art by a variety of Northern artists. These included Tom McGuinness, Norman Cornish and Lilian Colbourn.
Oliver was given an insight into the quality, techniques and integrity of paintings. His taste is eclectic and he has the ability to source quality paintings.
Helen Bird trained in art and design in the early 70's. Over the years she has developed a keen appreciation of colour, light and form. She has a passion for contemporary Art and prints.
